The Pocket Choral Society has produced as special show for village hall touring across the UK. The vicar, publican, farmer and village shop worker who form the group, bring a whole new vibe to the show as they combine the singing with tales of intrigue and village life from their own village of Pocket.
With our considerable experience of hundreds of rural touring performances with ten schemes from Live Borders to Take Art, Creative Arts East to Night Out with musical acts including acoustic trio Mumbo-Jumbo and acappella quadruplets Men in General, we understand the needs of village halls and have produced this show especially aimed at rural communities.
“Really enjoyed the show – the village theme is a stroke of genius” Peter van Tongeren, Great Witley Village Hall promoter.
“A wonderful evening in the company of the excellent Pocket Choral Society. Their intricate a Capella arrangements and humorous self-penned songs, many focused on the gentle absurdities of village life, delivered a fabulous evening’s entertainment, enthusiastically lapped up by an appreciative audience. Many Thanks again!” Linda, Promoter Dalbury Lees Millenium Hall.
“Utterly quirky and hugely engaging …….. very silly and very clever.” Jackie, Winster Village Hall audience member
